As a mother myself I know that those times with our children go past in a flash and we love to hold onto the memories of them whilst they're still little. This is why I decided to specialise in newborn, children and maternity photography as I wanted to capture those moments with my children and I wanted to also help my clients to have the same experience.
How Did I get Started?
My love of photography and creativity actually started at a young age and it became second nature to me to look at light and composition. Because of this I studied Graphic Design and Animation at University where I worked with some world class designers such as with the Royal Academy of Music where I worked on an online virtual project.
I also worked with the BBC, Arts Council, Councils across South Wales and the South West of England, Watershed, Millennium Stadium and smaller Art Houses in London and Bristol on collaboratively projects for Scissor Sisters and Franz Ferdinand to name a few.
Due to my love of children, after leaving University I qualified as a teacher and I really enjoyed mentoring and encouraging children to love art and photography.
After many years teaching I finally decided to take my art and photography to the next level and set up my own studio sessions. I have been fortunate enough to work with and learn from some of the top newborn portrait makers in the country and this experience and expertise I am now passing on to you.
What I Offer You?
From my years of experience working with photography and children, I can offer you a photographer who really understands your children and can capture those moments that other photographers might not notice. I am also very aware of child safety and so have studied newborn posing, child safety and am trained in child protection. The safety of your children is always my paramount concern.
As a creative person I am also always learning and improving my skills and I have been internationally published in Bump, Baby and Beyond; Prestige Models; International Kid Magazine and many more.
