Porthcawl, Port Talbot, Bridgend, Swansea, Cardiff.

Pregnancy for a mum-to-be has its challenges, your growing bump will put you through an overwhelming journey, from exhaustion to finding the right position to get comfy, to trying to get some decent sleep, whilst juggling pregnancy hormones, which are running all over the place.

South Wales Maternity Photographer says:

When I asked my maternity and newborn baby clients what is special about pregnancy, here are some of the things you mentioned…

1. You are the first to know you are pregnant and you get to see your partner's face when you show them the positive pregnancy test.

2. The excitement of keeping your exciting news a secret during the early weeks or months.

3. feeling the kicks for the first time, then seeing your partner's face when he feels the baby kicking for the first time.

4. The excitement of the build-up to what life will be like once the baby arrives and being a family.

5. You finally get to choose something for your own baby, after years of buying presents for friends and family who were starting a family.

6. Naming the bump is so much fun, have you got a pregnancy bump nickname for your little one?

7. Dreaming of what your baby will become one day.

8. Your growing baby bump gets a whole new pregnancy wardrobe.

9. Watch the faces of anyone and everyone you break the news of your pregnancy to. This is something you buy or predict, you will have so much fun.
